The first suicidal tendencies appeared in me at the age of 11. The first diagnosis of depression came four years later.
Up until now, depression has been the background and the basis of other mental issues - obsessive disorder compulsive disorders, borderline personality disorders, social phobia, eating disorders, and dysmorphophobia. Their effect is a direct disturbance of the perception of oneself -both of one's body and the interpretation of the outside world or the way one functions in it.

Mental disorders usually do not translate directly into visual representation, and therefore they are very commonly unnoticed, even ignored, by outsiders. However, those kinds of problems are noticeable in the signs of the physicality of the disturbed person.

The essence of the "All is Well." series is the translation of the perceptibility of states accompanying mental disorders into an image, using
the feature of transparency of the photographic medium for this purpose. Thanks to this I wanted to create a "double mirror" -on the one

hand, by providing an opportunity for people with problems to see and recognize themselves within the photos, on the other giving the pos-
sibility of a clearer understanding and empathy-inducing compassion for audiences who are unfamiliar with these types of disorders.

After all, even though everything can appear just fine on the outside, there may be something completely different creeping under
the surface.

This series consists of 11 photographs made in digital technology, presented in the form of inkjet prints on FineArt paper in the sizes
100x150cm (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) and 60x90cm (2, 4, 6, 8, 10).
